It all started when I was 5 and my Mother gave me a sip of beer (yeah, I remember, it was Miller Lite), since then it
was all down hill. My brother helped me along the way when I was, well for legal reasons lets not mention my age ...
Then I worked for Anheuser-Busch desigining and installing brewery equipment at the age of 20, I was like a kid in a candy
store, 4 short months to be of age and tasty frosty beer all around! I went back to school to finish my degree and my
buddy Jeremy and I started making our own beer. We branded our beer Crouchenstein TM Our first brew
was a simple single stage India Pale Ale. While we have since graduated we still talk and share theories (AKA drink..)
Together we mastered dual stage fermentation, lagaring, rappid wort cooling, kegging, forced carbonation and consuming!
We made a Honey Lagar that if I could mass sell would put all other breweries out of business. It was the kind of beer
that if God drank beer, he would drink! I have started brewing with another good friend, Dave, he has the capability
to brew from all grain and we are currently experimenting with out own recipes (basically we take an already proven recipe
and tweak it!)
If anyone is interested in the hobby and needs help read The New Complete Joy of Home Brewing be Charlie Papazan
and ask me any questions you wish. Try it and remember If it doesn't taste like store bought beer, its ok, its not supposed
to, thats the point! RELAX HAVE A HOME BREW!
